Poonga works with a range of organisations to help refugees and asylum seekers in New Zealand settle into the country. We provide help in all facets of resettlement from visiting new arrivers at the camp to on-going help in all matters of settling in. Poonga works with the wider community to ensure that we are connected with the wider network of human rights and refugee organisations that advocate and lobby for greater protection for refugees.
