The Poonga examination committee have organized the International Tamil Examination & Australasian Tamil Examination in New Zealand. In future this will help to bridge the Tamil community children together. Both examinations are open to wider Tamil community in New Zealand.

International Tamil Examination is held annually in the mid year time. This examination consist both oral & written Exam and held in many part of the world. The Examination is available from year 1 to year 12.

Year end Tamil Examination is held every year and the papers are based on the Cambridge Tamil language curriculum. The Exam papers are available from elementary to year 10.

​

From this year, our year-end written exam will follow the London Cambridge model, aligning with NZ educational standards with the support of the British Tamil Examination. This change provides our students with:

• Opportunity to sit Cambridge Tamil exams

• Enhanced global recognition.

• Better preparation for tertiary education and careers

நியூசிலாந்து பூங்கா தமிழ் தேர்வுச்சபை கடந்த 15 வருடங்களாக தமிழ் தேர்வுகளையும் திறன்களையும் நடாத்தி வருகிறது.

 

அனைத்துலக தமிழ் மொழி தேர்வு:

அனைத்துலக தமிழ் மொழி தேர்வில் ஆயிர கணக்கான மாணவர்கள் பல மேற்கத்திய நாடுகளில் பங்கேற்கிறார்கள். பல நாடுகளில் இத்தேர்வு அந்நாட்டு அரசாங்கத்தின் ஆதரவையும் அனுசரணையும்  பெற்றுள்ளது. இத்தேர்வுவை எம் மாணவர்கள் எடுப்பதால் அனைத்துலகரீதியில் தங்கள் தரத்தை பேணுவதற்கும் உலகரீதியில் தமிழ் மொழிக்கு ஒரு தரத்தை நிலை நிறுத்துவதற்கும் உதவுகிறது. ஆண்டுதோறும் வும் ( May/June) மாதங்களில் வாய்மொழித்தேர்வும், எழுத்துத்தேர்வும் இடம்பெறுகிறது. வாய்மொழித்தேர்வில், கேட்டல் வாசித்தல், பேசுதல் ஆகிய திறன்கள் உள்ளடக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன.

 

இறுதி ஆண்டு தமிழ் மொழி தேர்வு:

இறுதி ஆண்டு தமிழ்மொழி தேர்வு கேம்பிரிட்ச் கல்விப் பாடத்திட்டத்திற்கு அமைய வடிவமைக்கப்பட்டு இத்தேர்வு இடம்பெறுகிறது. இத்தேர்வு ஆண்டு இறுதியில் (December) நடைபெறுகிறது.

All the administration work is organized by us and CLANZ (Community Language Association of New Zealand). Their former President Mr Roger Brookes went through the process and accepted it has been done with similar conventions of language examinations worldwide.
